SOMArts in San Francisco, CA,

Dinner Party (with Grace) was a two-hour relational aesthetics project hosted and performed by Kristen van Diggelen Sloan at Overturn the Artifice, an exhibition at SOMArts, San Francisco, CA in 2013.

The project inluded a table setting, featuring van Diggelen Sloan’s handmade dishes, and five dinner guests chosen randomly after submitting their contact information at the exhibition opening. Sloan  cooked and hosted the event with an aim to create dialogue, social interactivity and bring world issues to the table.
